Woodward Knocks Clinton SoS Choice

Now that it's considered a foregone conclusion that Sen. Hillary Clinton will be the next secretary of State, the chattering class is weighing in, including legendary reporter Bob Woodward. FishbowlDC has obtained an advanced transcript of this weekend's "The Chris Matthews Show", in which the famed Washington Post reporter had this to say about Clinton's nomination as SoS:

Being president is about control, and tell me who ever controlled Bill or Hillary Clinton. They can't control each other. ... I think it's because Warren Buffett and Paul Volcker and others have convinced Obama, 'You're going to have to focus like a laser on the economy. That's issue Number One. And give Hillary and Bill the world.' ... I think people are fantasizing or smoking something if they think Joe Biden's going to call Hillary Clinton up and say, 'This is what we want you to do.'

Then there’s jokin’ joe liebermann, the israeli/bush administration shill who spoke against Obama at the REPUBLICAN Convention, and son of israeli terrorist rahm emanuel. What is he smoking?

Maybe she will bring some of the silverware back..

As a plus, she does know where all the good hiding places are for files and such. Maybe she will appoint Sandy "Socks" Berger to her staff who is equally skilled in dealing with sensitive information.

I don't see it so much as GAINING A SECRETARY OF STATE as much as LOSING A SENATOR-FOR-LIFE! Thank goodness, now NY may get a real senator!

Barrack is a little boy who BS'ed his way into the presidency of the U.S. without knowing a damn thing...he's known that all along..now he is scared to death and hired all these hack retreads because he doesn't know what else to do...meanwhile we are in deepest financial dodo in 100 years...stupid voters will get what they deserve chaos, FUs galore, higher taxes, more regulations, less freedoms, on and on and further down the tubes.

you hit it on the nail!! he is being told what to do, his closest advisors are telling who to appoint and I just bet its emanuel, the chicago machine is at work. this new president has the least expeirence of any president coming in, and I dare anyone to please tell us what his expirience is. if all these people were honest , they could not name one thing he really has done. he has run for president for two of his senate years of not quite four years, thats pathetic!!!
