NOTE:
You will need QuickTime Player to view the Broaddrick clintonRAPE interview. Most browsers already contain this plug-in.
The Broaddrick clintonRAPE interview is a large file, but will start playing immediately, i.e., will stream, in all browsers except Internet Explorer (IE).
IE users can also get the Broaddrick clintonRAPE movie to stream by opening QuickTime Player, selecting "open URL in new player" and pasting in the Broaddrick clintonRAPE movie URL:

A SUGGESTION:
Burn CDs of the Broaddrick clintonRAPE interview and hand them out at FReeps; hand them out on campuses; hand them out everywhere.
Printing the CD or a label -- or even a cd sleeve or insert -- with the above graphic would enhance the impact, in my view. |

approx 50 megs, but you don't need to d/l it. copy the URL from Mia's image of a CD where it says "click" (or below between the quotes).
Then open quicktime, then go to QT's file menu and do an "Open URL in new player."
If the player doesn't automatically show "http://209.157.64.215/broaddrick_clintonrape.mov" then paste that in and watch; it will stream without downloading to your hard - drive.

thx! Completely forgot that opening in quicktime doesn't download the file to the hard drive! I will add that note to the instructions.

worked for me ten minutes ago and again just now. Did you copy the URL from her graphic or from my post?
If the latter, make sure you didn't get the quote marks...
I am not savvy enough to answer on the firewall question.

OPENING THE Broaddrick clintonRAPE interview MOVIE DIRECTLY IN QUICKTIME HAS THE ADDED ADVANTAGE OF NOT DOWNLOADING THIS VERY LARGE FILE ONTO YOUR HARD DRIVE.
As mentioned in the original post, opening in QuickTime also has the advantage of streaming the video, i.e., playing it immediately.

Handing out copies of this interview likely violates copyright laws unless NBC specifically grants rights for duplication and distribution.

If that is the case--and I am not so certain that it is--(the good of society may take precedence)--then it is not unreasonable to define the act of distribution as one of civil disobedience.
In any case, I suspect that the clintonoids would think twice before drawing attention to this interview.

Correct. The Clintons' pet federal judge made it so back in 2000. Fair use is dead.
I expect that this would fall under "fair use", in that it is only an excerpt of a program, and essentially a historical document.
It's only fair use if you have the time and money to get the case to the Supreme Court. The Clintons had a federal judge make any supposed "fair use" defense short of that invalid.
What if you type :"For historical purposes only": on the CD will that work?
Certainly, if you personally appointed the judge who is ruling on your "fair use" defense. Otherwise, forget it.
