What Is It That Makes A Man Do Excessive Amounts Of Prescription Meds (Pain Killers) With "Compound Med Scripts" To The Point Of Hearing Loss?
What Causes A Man To Defend The Indefensible Without Even An Attempt To Rationally Discern Competing and Far More Rational Points of View?

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Rush Limbaugh asked the Florida Supreme Court on Thursday to return his medical records to his doctors and permanently keep them from prosecutors investigating his use of painkillers.
Limbaugh alleged that his privacy was violated when the records were seized in 2003 and has fought to keep them sealed. Lower courts have sided with prosecutors, who are investigating whether Limbaugh engaged in "doctor shopping," or illegally visiting several doctors to receive duplicate prescriptions.
No Deal: Prosecutors Nix Limbaugh Plea Offer
Deal Would Have Involved Drug Intervention, Not Jail

Prosecutors last month rejected a deal Rush Limbaugh's attorney suggested that would have seen the conservative radio commentator enter a drug intervention program rather than face charges for illegally obtaining prescription painkillers, records show.
Instead, Palm Beach County prosecutors wanted Limbaugh to plead guilty to the third-degree felony of "doctor shopping" -- visiting several doctors to receive duplicate prescriptions of a controlled narcotic.

Limbaugh detained at Palm Beach airport (for bottle of Viagra in his possession without a prescription). The sheriff's office plans to file a report with the state attorney's office. Miller said it could be a second-degree misdemeanor violation. Limbaugh reached a deal last month with prosecutors who had accused the conservative talk-show host of illegally deceiving multiple doctors to receive overlapping painkiller prescriptions. Under the deal, the charge, commonly referred to as "doctor shopping," would be dismissed after 18 months if he continues to submit to random drug tests and treatment for his acknowledged addiction to painkillers.
